Safety Guidelines & Anti-Ban Protocols (2026)

Let's be honest: modifying game files always carries a non-zero risk. While ExfrySwapper is designed to be undetected (client-side only), playing smart is your best defense against bans.

Golden Rule

Never use this tool on an account you aren't willing to lose. If your account has $5,000 worth of skins, do not risk it. Use an alt account.

01

Game Mode Risk Tiers

Creative / Party Royale

Lowest Risk

Epic Games rarely monitors file integrity in Creative lobbies. This is the safest place to take screenshots or record videos.

Public Battle Royale (Unranked)

Medium Risk

Standard Pubs are generally okay, but if you receive mass reports from players spectating you, manual review might catch you.

Ranked / Cash Cups / FNCS

Extreme Risk

DO NOT DO THIS. Competitive modes have enhanced server-side integrity checks. Using modified files in a tournament is a guaranteed way to get HWID banned.

02

Streaming & Recording

If you are a content creator, you need to be careful about exposing your username (IGN).

  • Hide IGN: Turn on "Anonymous Mode" in Fortnite settings.
  • Hide UI: If showing off a skin, turn off the HUD in Replay Mode to avoid showing match IDs.
  • Don't show the Swapper: Never show the ExfrySwapper window on stream. Use "Game Capture" for Fortnite only, not "Display Capture".

One Last Thing...

Always Revert before Update Night

Every Tuesday (usually), Fortnite updates. If you have swapped files when the game tries to update, the Epic Launcher will detect "Corrupted Files" and force a huge download.

Habit: Every Monday night, open ExfrySwapper and click Revert All.
